AN ACT concerning

Carroll County — Alcoholic Beverages
(Local Penalties)

FOR the purpose of providing that the board of license
commissioners of Carroll County may impose a fine of a
certain limit in lieu of suspension of an alcoholic
beverage license under certain circumstances.

Section 203 (1)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

203.

(L) IN CARROLL COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS MAY IMPOSE A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $1,000 OR
SUSPEND A LICENSE FOR ANY VIOLATION THAT IS CAUSE FOR
SUSPENSION UNDER THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS AFFECTING
CARROLL COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
