publication and notice, which shall be paid at the time of
the filing of the application for the transfer [and/or] OR
sale. This section shall permit the transfer of location
and the assignment of license in the same application.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Electric Companies - Air Quality Control

FOR the purpose of requiring electric companies to obtain
prior approval from the Public Service Commission for
modifications to electric generating stations which
might change air emissions and providing certain
exceptions to this requirement; providing for the

advice of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene

as to whether the Public—Service Commission—should

approve a modification to an electric—generating

station providing that certain information be provided
to the Public Service Commission and to the Department
of Health and Mental Hygiene; providing to the
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene a specific right
to judicial review of decisions of the Public Service
Commission related to air quality impact; and generally
relating to the authority of the Public Service
Commission and the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene over electric generating companies.
