Montgomery County — Bingo

FOR the purpose of establishing guidelines for the
determination of bingo license fees in Montgomery
County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

Section 255B(g)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1976 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

255B.

(g) The department of environmental protection of
Montgomery County shall adopt regulations for the conduct of
the game of bingo AND ESTABLISH LICENSE FEES BASED UPON THE
ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS OF REGULATION AND ISSUANCE OF EACH
CLASS OF LICENSE in Montgomery County. Cash prizes, not to
exceed $500 per game, may be awarded in any game. The hours
of operation and additional regulations deemed necessary for
the proper conduct of the game shall be established by the
department.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
