SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings

10-204.

A copy of a public record, book, paper, or proceeding
of any agency of [the State] ANY STATE or of any of its
political subdivisions or of an agency of any political
subdivision shall be received in evidence in any court if
certified as a true copy by the custodian of the record,
book, paper, or proceeding, and if otherwise admissible.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

FOR the purpose of allowing building, savings and loan
associations to invest in the bonds, notes, and other
evidences of indebtedness of the State of Israel as
authorized by the Board of Building, Savings and Loan
Association Commissioners, with a certain exception,
