14-910. APPLICABILITY OF CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT.

A VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISION OF THIS SUBTITLE IS AN
UNFAIR OR DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE WITHIN THE MEANING OF
TITLE 13 OF THIS ARTICLE.

[14-904] 14-911. Penalty.

Any person who violates any provision of this subtitle
is guilty of a misdemeanor and [on conviction is subject to
a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment not exceeding one
year or both] IS SUBJECT TO THE ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTY
PROVISIONS SET FORTH IN TITLE 13 OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
