29-1 and 29—2 and the subtitle heading "Financial Disclosure
Act", of Article 33 — Election Code, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
1 through 10, inclusive, of Article 19A — Conflicts of
Interest, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
14A, of Article 41 - Governor — Executive and Administrative
Departments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
24A, of Article 64A — Merit System, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 19 79.

AN ACT concerning

Uniform Commercial Code — Secured Transactions

FOR the purpose of clarifying a possible ambiguity relating
to the effective period of financing statement in
Section 9—403, Article — Commercial Law, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and 1978
Supplement) resulting from the enactment of Chapter 459
of the Lavs of Maryland (1978); confirming the original
intent of the General Assembly of Maryland; and making
this Act an emergency measure.
