statement of financial interests as is required of the
judges of the several courts of the State pursuant to this
section for the calendar year immediately preceding the year
in which the certificate of candidacy is filed. A candidate
for nomination for, or election to, an orphans' court
judgeship shall file his statement with the appropriate
local board of election supervisors; a candidate for
nomination for, or election to, any other judgeship shall
file his statement with the State Administrative Board of
Election Laws. The State Administrative Board of Election'
Laws and the local boards of election supervisors shall not
accept any certificate of candidacy or certificate of
nomination unless the required statement has been filed.
Within thirty (30) days of the receipt of a statement by the
State Administrative Board of Election Laws or by a local
board of election supervisors, the State Administrator of
Election Laws or the local board shall forward the statement
to the person designated by the Court of Appeals to receive
the statements required to be filed by judges pursuant to
this section.

(C) COPIES OF ALL STATEMENTS FILED PURSUANT TO THIS
SECTION SHALL BE TRANSMITTED TO THE COMMISSION WITHIN 30
DAYS OF RECEIPT BY THE COURT OF APPEALS OR ITS DESIGNEE.

[29-10. Local officials.

(a)    Each county of the State, the City of Baltimore
and each of the incorporated municipalities are hereby
directed to enact public financial disclosure requirements
with respect to any local officials of their respective
jurisdictions, including candidates for election to such
offices, the standards and requirements of which must be
substantially those required by this subtitle for State
officials and candidates. For the purposes of this section,
the express powers contained and enumerated in Articles 23A,
25A and 25B of the Annotated Code of Maryland and in the
charter of the City of Baltimore are intended and shall be
deemed to incorporate and include the power and authority
contained in this section.

(b)   (1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law,
in Baltimore County the following officials shall be treated
as local officials for the purpose of any financial
disclosure requirements enacted by the Baltimore County
Council:

(i) Executive director and members of the
revenue authority;

(ii) President and members of the Board of
Education of Baltimore County;

(iii) Superintendent of schools of
Baltimore County;
