LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 513

[All persons holding and candidates for the following
State offices are required to file the statements provided
for in this subtitle:

(a)   Governor;

(b)   Lieutenant Governor;

(c)   Attorney General and deputy Attorney General;

(d)   State Comptroller and deputy Comptroller;

(e)   State Treasurer and deputy Treasurer;

(f)   Secretary of State;

(g)   Secretary and deputy secretary of a principal
executive department of State government;

(h) State Senator;

(i) Delegate of the House of Delegates;

(j) State's attorney;

(k) Clerk of the circuit court for each county, or of
a court of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City;

(l) Register of wills;

(m) Sheriff; and

(n) Member, secretary, general counsel, people's
counsel, chief engineer, chief auditor, director of
transportation and chief hearing examiner of the Public
Service Commission.]

ALL OFFICIALS AND CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE AS STATE
OFFICIALS, EXCEPT THOSE WHO FILE PURSUANT TO § 4-105, ARE
REQUIRED TO FILE THE STATEMENTS PROVIDED FOR IN THIS TITLE.

[29—4.] 4—102. Statement of financial interests required to
be filed; forwarding to [Secretary of State] COMMISSION;
public inspection; forms.

(a) Each person OFFICIAL holding an office set forth
in § [29-3] 4-101 above shall file under oath or affirmation
with the [Secretary of State] COMMISSION, on or before the
15th day of April of each year during that person's term in
office, the statement required by this [subtitle] TITLE, for
the calendar year immediately preceding each such year in
office. A person, who has not filed the statement required
by this [subtitle] TITLE and who is appointed to fill a
vacancy in an office set forth in § [29—3] 4—101, shall file
that statement within 30 days after appointment to that
office.
