SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 66D - Maryland—National Capital Park
and Planning Commission
8-107.
(a) The board of zoning appeals of Prince George's
County, heretofore created, is continued. The board consists
of three members, who shall be residents of that portion of
the regional district within Prince George's County and
appointed by the [County Commissioners] COUNTY COUNCIL of
Prince George's County. The terms of members shall be four
years each, dating originally from their first appointment
in 1939.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE DECISION OF THE BOARD OF
ZONING APPEALS OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY AND A PARTY TO THE
PROCEEDING BEFORE IT MAY APPEAL TO THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE
COUNTY WHICH SHALL HAVE POWER TO AFFIRM THE DECISION OF THE
BOARD, OR IF THE DECISION IS NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW, TO
MODIFY OR REVERSE THE DECISION, WITH OR WITHOUT REMANDING
THE CASE FOR REHEARING AS JUSTICE MAY REQUIRE. ANY PARTY TO
THE PROCEEDING IN THE CIRCUIT COURT AGGRIEVED BY THE
DECISION OF THE COURT MAY APPEAL FROM THE DECISION TO THE
COURT OF SPECIAL APPEALS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1979.
