THE STATE, NOT TO EXCEED THE ALLOWANCE SET BY THE COMMITTEE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

CHAPTER 511

(Senate Bill 1095)

AN ACT concerning

Industrial Development Financing - Revenue Bonds and MIDFA

FOR the purpose of defining "industrial buildings" for
purposes of revenue bond financing under the subtitle
"Industrial Buildings for Counties and Municipalities"
to include property used for storage, transshipment, or
processing of agricultural or seafood products; and
defining "industrial project" under the Maryland
Industrial Development Financing Authority Act to
include buildings used primarily for storage or
transshipment of agricultural or seafood products.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 41 — Governor — Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 266A (a) and 266-0(3)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1978 Replacement Volume and 1978 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 41 — Governor — Executive and Administrative

Departments

266A.

(a) As used in this subheading, the term "industrial
building" or "buildings" means any building or structure, or
portion thereof, suitable for or intended for use as a
factory, mill, shop, processing plant, research and/or
development laboratory, warehouse, assembly plant,
fabricating plant, and offices related to any of the
foregoing and/or necessary or useful machinery and
equipment, to be leased or sold to an industrial concern
(or, in the case of pollution control facilities, to a
