AN ACT concerning

Economic Impact — Corrective

FOR the purpose of relocating within the Annotated Code
existing provisions requiring administrative agencies
to publish an estimate of the economic impact of
proposed rules and regulations on the budgets of State
and local governments and upon the private sector.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

In addition to other rule—making requirements imposed
by law:

[(d) When an agency publishes a notice of intended
action pursuant to subsection (c), it also shall publish in
the same notice an estimate of the economic impact of the
intended action upon:

(1) The revenues and expenditures of the agency
publishing the intended action;
