Maryland Railroad Police

FOR the purpose of creating a Maryland Railroad Police Act;
establishing qualifications for certain officers;
creating a procedure for application and appointment of
officers; providing for an oath of office; providing
for custody of prisoners; permitting the Governor to
enter into certain reciprocal agreements; creating
certain police powers; providing for termination of
authority in certain circumstances; creating a short
title; and generally relating to Maryland Railroad
Police.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Subheading "Religious Corporations" and
sub—subheading "In General" of Article 23 — Miscellaneous
Companies, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:
