funds to the treasurer of the State, and the Treasurer shall
make funds available to the appropriate local governmental
agency, when needed, for eligible work.
(e) The Director of the Office on Aging is directed
to make a report to the General Assembly, no later than one
year after the [award of the first] FIRST SURPLUS SCHOOL
BUILDING OR OTHER PUBLIC BUILDING OR PART THEREOF IS
CONVERTED WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF A State grant under this
Act, on the value of converting surplus public school
buildings to Elderly Citizen Activities Centers. The report
should contain sufficient quantitative data to compare the
delivery of services to elderly citizens prior to and after
conversions.
(4) There is hereby levied and imposed an annual
State tax on all assessable property in the State in rate
and amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest
on the bonds as and when due and until paid in full, such
principal to be discharged within fifteen years of the date
of issue of the bonds.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1979.

Abortion — Information
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from—performing an
abortion, providing with certain exceptions, unless
the that a woman before undergoing the procedure has

information; requiring the Department of Human
Resources in cooperation with the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene to annually prepare, periodically
update, publish, and distribute a certain list;
providing penalties; and generally relating to
information to be given to a woman prior to her
undergoing an abortion.
