AN ACT concerning
Carroll County - Individual Water Supply and
Sewerage Systems
FOR the purpose of excepting individual water supply and
sewerage systems in Carroll County from the rule that
certain community and other water supply and sewerage
systems may not be installed or extended in any
geographic area to which a county plan, amendment, or
revision relates unless it is in accordance with the
plan, amendment, or revisions; stating the conditions
necessary for the granting of an exception; and
clarifying language.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 43 - Health
387C.
(d) 2. The county plan, amendment, or revision thereof
shall become effective immediately upon approval by the
approving authority subject to revision or other appropriate
action by the Secretary and no community water supply,
sewerage or solid waste disposal system, or multiuse water
supply and sewerage disposal system, or individual water
supply or individual sewerage system or solid waste
acceptance facility may be installed or extended in any
geographic area to which said county plan, amendment, or
revision there of relates, unless it is in accordance
therewith. In Baltimore County AND CARROLL COUNTY,
exceptions allowing the installation of individual water
[supplies] SUPPLY or individual sewerage systems to serve an
individual residence, may be granted by the approving
