the ratio that, as of June 30 of the preceding calendar
year, the total number of motor vehicles registered to
owners having addresses in the municipality bears to the
total number of motor vehicles registered to owners having
addresses in the county, AND ALLOCATING THE FOLLOWING
PERCENTAGES OF THE RESULTING AMOUNT TO THE MUNICIPALITY AS
INDICATED:

(I) FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1,
1979, 75 PERCENT;

(II) FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1,
1980, 87.5 PERCENT; OR

(III) FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY
1, 1981, AND EACH YEAR THEREAFTER, 100 PERCENT FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1979, 75 PERCENT OF THE
RESULTING AMOUNT TO THE MUNICIPALITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Gasoline Service Station - Divestitures

FOR the purpose of exempting certain facilities owned or
operated by an agricultural cooperative association, as
defined by federal law, from the requirement that a
retail service station, owned by certain petroleum
companies, must be operated by a retail service station
dealer; and clarifying language.
