(c) (1) Of the board members initially appointed,
three members shall have terms of one, two and three years,
respectively, and four members shall serve terms of four
years, all dating from July 1, 1972. Board members
appointed thereafter shall serve terms of four years. No
member shall serve more than two consecutive full terms.
Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired portion of the
term in the same manner as the original appointment.

(2)  Of the four additional members initially
appointed to the Eastern Shore Hospital Center citizens
advisory board, one shall serve a term of one year, one
shall serve a term of two years, one shall serve a term of
three years, and one shall serve a term of four years, all
dating from July 1, 1978. All board members appointed
thereafter shall serve terms of four years. A member may
not serve more than two consecutive full terms. Vacancies
shall be filled for the unexpired portion of a term in the
same manner as the original appointment.

(3)  HOWEVER, AN INITIALLY APPOINTED MEMBER OF A
CITIZENS' ADVISORY BOARD UNDER THIS SUBSECTION MAY NOT SERVE
MORE THAN THREE FULL TERMS.

Article 59A - Mental Retardation

19F.

(d) (5) A member may not serve more than two full
terms. HOWEVER, AN INITIALLY APPOINTED MEMBER OF A
CITIZENS' ADVISORY BOARD MAY SERVE NOT MORE THAN THREE FULL
TERMS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.
