(1) Drive the vehicle; or
(2) If he is an owner of the vehicle, knowingly
permit another person to drive it.
(B) ANYONE CONVICTED OF A VIOLATION OF SUBSECTION (A)
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE PENALTIES PROVIDED IN SECTION
27-101(I) OF THIS ARTICLE
27-101.
(i) Any person who is convicted of a violation of any
of the provisions of § 16-303 of this article ("Driving
while privilege is canceled, suspended, refused, or
revoked"), 17-107 OF THIS ARTICLE (PROHIBITIONS), §
21-902(a) of this article ("Driving while intoxicated"), or
§ 21-904 of this article ("fleeing or eluding police") is
subject to:
(1) For a first offense, a fine of not more
than $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 1 year or
both; and
(2) For any subsequent offense, a fine of not
more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 2 years
or both.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning
Dorchester County and Kent Counties -
Membership of Sanitary Commission
FOR the purpose of allowing the County Commissioners of
Dorchester County and Kent County to alter the number
of members of the Dorchester County and Kent County
Sanitary Commission Commissions; providing for the
appointment of certain additional members; specifying
that no change is to be made in the existing method of
appointments at the expiration of the existing
commission; and relating generally to the change in
membership.
