FOR the purpose of permitting the State Highway
Administration to set terms and conditions, subject to
approval by the Board of Public Works, on the use of
acquired property by the transferor prior to the
beginning of the construction of a transportation
project.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Transportation

8-308.

(a) [Any] SUBJECT TO ANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS IMPOSED
BY THE ADMINISTRATION AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
WORKS, ANY land acquired under this subtitle may be used by
the transferor of the land in common with the Administration
until construction of the transportation project actually
begins.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Citations for Parking Violations

FOR the purpose of providing the manner in which an officer
shall issue a citation for certain parking violations
contained in the Maryland Vehicle Law; providing for
presumption of ownership in a certain situation; and
eliminating the signature requirement for a citation
issued for certain parking violations when the vehicle
is unattended.

BY adding to
