LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 26

Administration Shall:

(1)    Place and maintain at the proper place at least
one sturdy upright sign that:

(i) Contains a clear and easily recognizable
representation of a wheelchair; and

(ii) Prohibits general public parking in the
reserved space; and

(2)    Paint a red line on the curb, edge, or side of
the roadway, long enough to reserve a space for one Class A
(passenger) vehicle.

27-101.

(h) Any person who is convicted of a violation of any
of the provisions of § 16-303 of this article {"Driving
while privilege is canceled, suspended, refused, or
revoked"}, § 21-902 (a) of this article {"Driving while
intoxicated"), or § 21-904 of this article {"Fleeing or
eluding police"} is subject to:

(2) For any subsequent offense, a [fine or]
FINE OF not more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not more
than 2 years or both.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
