THE INSTITUTE SHALL PROVIDE BASIC TRAINING FOR RESCUE
AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN COOPERATION WITH THE
DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES OF THE STATE
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE.
65. FUNDING OF INSTITUTE.
THE FUNDING OF THE INSTITUTE SHALL BE AS PROVIDED IN
THE STATE BUDGET.
REVISOR'S NOTE: These sections presently appear as Art.
77A, §§ 27AF through 27AL. No changes have been
made.
They are transferred to Art. 38A, for eventual
inclusion in the Public Safety Article, because
of the similarity of the subject matter. This
conforms with the treatment of the Center for
Marine and Estuarine Studies in the Natural
Resources Article.
SECTION 9. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That any person
receiving a Delegate Scholarship in an amount greater than
the amount permitted by Title 18, Subtitle 5 of this Act, as
authorized by former Art. 77A, §40, shall continue to receive
that amount for the remainder of his undergraduate
enrollment if he continues to meet the applicable
eligibility requirements.
SECTION 10. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That:

(g) Students regularly admitted to or enrolled in any
class at the State colleges from the City of Baltimore and
the several counties who shall obligate themselves to teach
in the public schools of the State of Maryland, shall not be
required to pay any tuition fees. This tuition waiver shall
not apply after October 1, 1972, except that students
enrolled in a teacher education program on October 1, 1972,
shall be permitted to complete their undergraduate program
in accordance with the tuition waiver regulations in effect
prior to that date.
(g-1) Any student who has ever graduated from, who is
enrolled in or who hereafter graduates from a State college
under the tuition waiver program authorized in subsection
(g) OF §12 OF ARTICLE 77A OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND
(1957 EDITION), and who has executed a contract to teach in
the public schools pursuant thereto, may fulfill his
obligation to the State in the following manner:
(1) By teaching in a public or approved nonpublic
elementary or secondary school, or college, in Maryland for
the term and within the period specified in his contract; or
