LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 22

THERE IS A PROGRAM OF DELEGATE SCHOLARSHIPS IN THIS
STATE THAT ARE AWARDED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language added to
clarify the existence of the Delegate Scholarship
Program.

18-502. QUALIFICATIONS OF RECIPIENT.

EACH MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES MAY SELECT THE
RECIPIENTS OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS HE AWARDS ON ANY BASIS HE
CONSIDERS APPROPRIATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as the
first two clauses of the first sentence of Art.
77A, §40 (a).

The last sentence of present §40(a), which
permits certain students to receive scholarships
larger than permitted by this section, is deleted
as unnecessary. Section 15 of this Act provides
that these students may continue to hold these
scholarships.

The only changes are in style.

MANDATORY FEES AT ANY ELIGIBLE INSTITUTION.

(2)    THE ANNUAL AMOUNT OF A SCHOLARSHIP AT A
