REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first and
second sentences of Art. 77A, §36.

In subsection (b) of this section, a requirement
that an applicant be a resident of the
appropriate legislative district "at the time of
his initial application" is substituted for the
present "at the time of the examination". This
conforms with the present practice and covers the
residence situation where the applicant is exempt
from the examination.

As to eligible institutions and other conditions
applicable to senatorial scholarships, see
Subtitle 1 of this title.

The provision of present Art. 77A, §36(1) that
requires the State Scholarship Board to send the
results of the examination to the institutions
