RESOLUTION FOR AN AMENDMENT

TO THE CHARTER

OF THE TOWN OF BETTERTON

"1976 Annexation"

RESOLUTION of the Town of Betterton, Maryland adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article 11-E of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Section 19(c) of
Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1973 edition
as amended, entitled "Municipal Corporations," to amend the
Charter of Betterton, this amendment to be entitled "1976
Annexation," by adding a new Section 2A, "1976 Annexation,"
to the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County, 1968
edition as amended, the same being new section 2A "1976
Annexation" of the Charter of Betterton, 1957, the amendment
to extend the boundaries of Betterton and to provide for
certain conditions within the area thus annexed.

[Section 8A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent
County, added.
