House Bill No. 2126 — Muskrat Hunting

AN ACT concerning

Muskrat Hunting

FOR the purpose of extending the open season for hunting or
trapping muskrat.

May 29, 1978

Annapolis, Maryland 21404

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 2126.

This till extends the open season for the hunting or
trapping of muskrat.

The Attorney General has advised me that the title of
House Bill 2126 is defective and therefore in contravention
of Article III, Section 29 of the Maryland Constitution. A
copy of the Opinion of the Attorney General is attached and
should be considered a part of this veto message.

For this reason, I have decided to veto House Bill
2126.
