concern," as used with regard to "Industrial Buildings
for Counties and Municipalities," includes any builder
or developer who engages in the acquisition of
industrial buildings for his own use, for use by any
other person or entity, or for use by both, for any of
the purposes permitted by that subheading; in the same
subheading defining the term Port Facility to include
bulkheads, dredging, and dredge spoil disposal areas;
and generally relating to defining certain terms with

regard to "Industrial Buildings for Counties and

Municipalities.

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 41 - Governor — Executive and
Administrative Departments

266A.

(b) "Port facility" means and shall include, without

intending__thereby to limit the generality of such term, any

one or more of the following or any combination thereof;

lands, piers, docks, wharves, BULKHEADS, DREDGING, DREDGE

SPOIL DISPOSAL AREAS, warehouses, sheds, transit sheds,

elevators, compressors, refrigeration storage plants,

buildings, structures and other__facilities, appurtenances

and equipment necessary or useful in connection with the

operation of a modern port and every kind of terminal or

storage structure or facility now in use or hereafter

designed for use in the handling, storage, loading or

uploading of freight or passengers at steamship terminals,

and every kind of transportation__facility now in use or

hereafter designed for use in connection therewith.

(H) "INDUSTRIAL CONCERN" INCLUDES ANY BUILDER OR
DEVELOPER WHO ENGAGES IN THE ACQUISITION OF INDUSTRIAL
BUILDINGS FOR HIS OWN USE, FOR USE BY ANY OTHER PERSON OR
ENTITY, OR FOR USE BY BOTH, FOR ANY OF THE PURPOSES
PERMITTED BY THIS SUBHEADING.
