supplement the appropriation "Design and preparation of
detailed plans and specifications for two (2) State
office buildings for the Department of Agriculture, the
Department of Economic and Community Development..." as
set forth on page 1263 of the Acts of 1974 as amended
by Chapter 866 of the Acts of 1975 providing
supplementary funds; Section 5.2(A)(1)(b) of Chapter
289 of the Acts of 1974 and Section 5.2(A)(1)(b) of
Chapter 886 of the Acts of 1975 being hereby modified
to limit said appropriation and said work to one (1)
State Office Building for the Department of Agriculture
and provided that said work may begin upon satisfactory
assurances to the Board of Public Works that said
project can be completed with the aggregate of the
funds herein and heretofore appropriated for the
amended purpose (Anne Arundel County)........... 123,000

Section 1.(2)(F)(1)(a) - Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene, Aged and Chronically Ill Services
Administration, Deer's Head Center (Wicomico County):
To correct life safety deficiencies necessary to meet
Federal Standards subject to review and written
approval of the program for correction by the
Department of General Services and the Department of
State Planning prior to submission to and approval by
the Board of Public Works. Also, renovation of three
patient bathrooms and renovation and relocation of five
nursing stations................................710,000

Section 1.(2)(F)(3)(a)(1) - Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene, Mental Retardation Administration,
Headquarters — Purchase and renovation or construction
of two or more group homes statewide. The Secretary of
the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene may grant a
sum from the appropriation, subject to the approval of
the Board of Public Works, not to exceed $25,000 to
local nonprofit agencies to accomplish the necessary
renovation of newly acquired State owned group
homes.....................................300,000

Section 1.(2)(F)(3)(b)(1) - Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene, Mental Retardation Administration,
Henryton Center (Carroll County): Preparation of
preliminary plans and specifications to renovate and
air-condition the residents' building............40,000

Section 1.(2)(F)(3)(c)(1) - Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene, Mental Retardation Administration,
Rosewood Center (Baltimore County): To correct life
safety deficiencies necessary to meet Federal
standards. Expenditures may not be made prior to
review and written approval of the program for
correction by the Department of General Services and
the Department of State Planning prior to submission to
