MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes

19.

(b) (2) (B) (ii) Prior to any settlement for real
property included within the provisions of paragraph (B)
(i), the buyer shall be given written notice by the seller
or the seller's AGENT OR attorney[ , at or prior to the time
of settlement,] IN THE CONTRACT OF SALE that the real
property is subject to the provisions of that paragraph.
Failure to notify the buyer shall make the seller liable to
the buyer for the amount of the tax deferred under the
provisions of paragraph (B) (i).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

THE DEPARTMENT SHALL ESTABLISH BY RULE OR REGULATION A
MUZZLE LOADING HUNTING SEASON A SEPARATE SEASON FOR HUNTING
DEER WITH MUZZLE LOADING FIREARMS.
