exceed [$50,000 in the aggregate to meet temporary deficits
in the treasury, and in addition thereto the said Board of
Public Works is hereby authorized and empowered to borrow
upon the credit of the State in sum or sums not to exceed
$1,000,000 in the aggregate, in anticipation of taxes levied
for any year] $50,000,000 IN THE AGGREGATE IN ANTICIPATION
OF REVENUES AS SET FORTH IN THE FISCAL DIGEST OR IN
ANTICIPATION OF RECEIVING FUNDS FROM A COMPLETED SETTLEMENT
OF A SALE OF BONDS.

(B) All loans made in pursuance of this section shall
bear interest at a rate to be determined by the Board of
Public Works, and shall mature and be repaid on or before
the [end of the year following that in which said sums are
borrowed] SIXTIETH DAY FOLLOWING THE DATE OF THE LOAN. THE
BOARD MAY NOT EXTEND THE TIME LIMIT FOR THE REPAYMENT OF ANY
LOAN BY REFINANCING OR ANY OTHER METHOD.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the passage

of this Act is contingent upon the passage of H.B. _______

(81r0305) of the Laws of 1978, a Constitutional Amendment,
and its ratification by the voters of the State.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to
the provisions of Section 2 above, this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1978.

Medicaid Payments for Day Care Centers

FOR the purpose of authorizing certain payments under
Medicaid for care of eligible patients in certain day
care centers.

(1971 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
