BLAIR LEE III, Acting Governor 2551 Unemployment Insurance Law FOR the purpose of amending the Unemployment Insurance Law; certain references; changing certain requirements for eligibility for benefits; and generally relating to BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law BY adding to Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law Section 9(b)(5) Annotated Code of Maryland SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law 4. Any unemployed individual is eligible to receive (d) (1) During [any two calendar quarters of] his base period, he has been paid wages for insured work that total not less than one and one—half times the upper limit of the division for which his high quarter earnings qualify in the schedule of benefits set forth in § 3 (b) of this article, THAT SUM TO BE EARNED IN NOT LESS THAN TWO QUARTERS, and during the calendar quarter of his base period |
