SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
529(m) through (s), respectively, of Article 43 - Health, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be
Section(s) 529(l) through (r), respectively.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That of the
members of the Board appointed initially, 2 registered
electrologists shall serve a term ending June 30, 1980 and 1
registered electrologist shall serve a term ending June 30,
1981.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Board

created by this Act shall be deemed to be a board under the

provisions of Section 486(a) (pertaining to the

reestablishment of certain regulatory boards) of

Chapter of the Acts of 1978 (H.B. 611/S.B. 405).

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 4

of this Act is contingent upon the taking effect of

Chapter of the Acts of 1978 (H.B. 611/S.B. 405) and if

Chapter does not become effective. Section 4 of this

Act shall be null and void without the necessity of further
action by the General Assembly.

SECTION 4 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Wetlands - Construction and Replacement of Certain Shore
Erosion Control Structures and Maintenance Dredging

FOR the purpose of providing an exemption from the public
notice and hearing requirements for certain licenses to
construct certain types of shore erosion control
structures, and to perform periodic maintenance
dredging of previously licensed projects on State
wetlands.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
