thereof shall be subject to a fine of not more than fifty
dollars for each such offense. Nothing in this section
shall be construed to prevent the owner or operator of any
such common carrier from making a special agreement with the
person who engaged and accepted transportation, for the
subsequent payment of the charges due.]

In any indictment, information or warrant for false
pretenses, it shall not be necessary to state the particular
false pretenses intended to be relied on in proof of the
same and in any such indictment, information or warrant it
shall be sufficient to use a formula to the following

effect: "That A—B on the..... day of....., 19 ....., in

the County (City) aforesaid, unlawfully and knowingly, by a
certain false pretense, did obtain from C—D (here listing
the articles obtained) of the goods, chattels, moneys and
property of C—D, with intent then and there to defraud, in
violation of Article 27, Section (here state section
violated), of the Annotated Code of Maryland; contrary to
the form of the Act of Assembly in such case made and
provided, and against the peace, government and dignity of
the State."]

Article — Transportation

[14-103.

(a) A person may not receive or transfer possession
of any vehicle with intent to obtain or pass title to the
vehicle, if the person known or has reason to believe that
the vehicle has been stolen or unlawfully taken.

(b) A person may not possess a vehicle that the
person knows or has reason to believe has been stolen or
unlawfully taken.

(c) The penalties provided in Title 27 of this
article for violation of this section are in addition to any
penalties provided by law for the larceny or unauthorized
use of a vehicle.]

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
342 and 343, respectively, of Article 27 — Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered
to be Section(s) 33A and 486A, respectively.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
349A of Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland be transferred to be Section(s)
14-102 of Article - Transportation, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland.

SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
