be credited on the books of the State Comptroller, to be
expended as needed by the State, upon approval by the Board
of Public Works, for the following needs, purposes and
projects, and amounts listed below being intended to
include Architects' and Engineers' fees where applicable:
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LOAN OF 1973:
(A) BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS:
(1) Annapolis (Anne Arundel
County):
(a) For the planning and analysis
of the present location and
construction of a State
Office Building; to ascertain
the existence, or lack
thereof, of a need for such a
facility and, if such need be
evident, to determine the
best location for such a
facility with consideration
to be given to the Saint
Johns Street area, the
Arundel Center on Calvert
Street, and other available
locations in the Annapolis
area; to consider whether
existing structures should be
restored or new construction
erected, in either event to
be compatible with the
historical architectural
atmosphere of Annapolis; and
if a need for such facility
be established, to justify
such need to the General
Assembly and to submit such
plans and analysis through
the normal budgetary
processes prior to any
further action with respect
to such facility AND TO
SUPPLEMENT THE APPROPRIATION
"DESIGN AND PREPARATION OF
DETAILED PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR TWO (2)
STATE OFFICE BUILDINGS FOR
THE DEPARTMENT OF
AGRICULTURE..." AS SHOWN ON
PAGE 1263 OF THE ACTS OF
1974, AND AS AMENDED ON PAGE
3617 OF THE ACTS OF 1975, AND
AS BOTH APPROPRIATIONS WERE
FURTHER MODIFIED BY CHAPTER
876 OF THE ACTS OF 1976 TO
LIMIT SAID APPROPRIATIONS AND
