Nor may it be deemed to prohibit brokers from charging a
fee, not to exceed 15 percent of the policy premium, for
services rendered in the replacement of insurance in a
company where no commissions are payable by the insurer.
Nor shall it be deemed to prohibit the charging and
collection, by agents or brokers, of actual expenses
incurred in the placement of automobile insurance through
the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund with a maximum charge
of $5.00 PLUS THE ACTUAL CHARGE BY THE MOTOR VEHICLE
ADMINISTRATION FOR ANY DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED TO BE
PRESENTED WITH THE APPLICATION, unless provided otherwise
by the Fund.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

instructors personnel to receive compensation for
certain work related diseases.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 101- Workmen's Compensation

64A.

(a) Any condition or impairment of health of any paid
municipal, county, STATE, airport authority or fire control
district, fire fighter OR FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTOR caused by
lung diseases, heart diseases, or hypertension and any
condition or impairment of health of any paid State,
municipal, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning
Commission, county or airport authority police officer
