Section 4-116(c)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter _____ of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1978)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter _____ of the Acts of the General

Assembly of 1978) be repealed, amended, or enacted to read
as follows:

Article — Education

4-116.

(c) The construction or remodeling of a building
shall conform to all applicable state and local COUNTY
building, electrical, fire, and plumbing regulations and
codes. A FEE MAY NOT BE CHARGED FOR ANY PERMIT REQUIRED
PURSUANT TO THESE REGULATIONS OR CODES FOR CONSTRUCTION OR
REMODELING, BUT A FEE MAY BE CHARGED FOR WATER OR SEWER
PERMITS, OR FOR CONNECTION AND SERVICE CHARGES FOR WATER AND
SEWERAGE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

Cruelty to Animals

FOR the purpose of prohibiting persons from engaging in
certain acts concerning vertebrate animals , except

under__certain circumstances; classifying these acts a

cruelty to animals; and making the commission of these
acts a misdemeanor.
