1606 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 452 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article — Commercial Law 15-601. (A-1) THE FOLLOWING AMOUNTS OF WAGES ARE EXEMPT FROM (1) EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS (I) THE PRODUCT OF $120 MULTIPLIED BY THE (II) 75 PERCENT OF THE WAGES DUE; AND (2) IN CAROLINE, KENT, QUEEN ANNE'S, AND (I) 75 PERCENT OF THE WAGES DUE; OR (II) 30 TIMES THE FEDERAL MINIMUM HOURLY (A-2) THE AMOUNT SUBJECT TO ATTACHMENT SHALL BE [15-602. (a) An attachment of an employee's wages in the hands (b) The following amounts of wages shall be exempt (1) Except as provided in paragraph (2) of this (i) The product of $120 multiplied by the (ii) 75 percent of the wages due; and (2) In Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's, and (i) 75 percent of the wages due; or (ii) 30 times the federal minimum hourly (c) Subsection (b) of this section does not apply to
