AN ACT concerning

Dorchester County — Deer Hunting

FOR the purpose of regulating the hunting, pursuing and
killing of deer of either sex in Dorchester County;
placing a time limit upon the application of this
regulation; specifying the number and species of deer
which may be killed; and pertaining to the requirement
of a regular or special permit.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article — Natural Resources

10-415.1.

(a)    In Dorchester County during the seasons for
hunting deer provided for in § 10—415 of this article, a
person may hunt, pursue, or kill either (i) one white tail
deer of either sex and two sitka deer of either sex or (ii)
three sitka deer of either sex, without the need for a
special antlerless permit.

(b)   The provisions of this section shall apply during
the deer hunting seasons in [1976 and 1977] 1978 AND 1979
only.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
