(3) A PROVISION THAT ENTITLES THE BOARD OF FIRE
COMMISSIONERS, FIRE COMPANY, RESCUE SQUAD, GOVERNMENTAL
SUBDIVISION, OR FIRE DEPARTMENT TO OBTAIN REIMBURSEMENT FROM
THE APPROPRIATE FEDERAL AUTHORITY FOR ALL OR ANY PART OF THE
COST INCURRED IN FURNISHING FIRE PROTECTION ON PROPERTY
WHICH IS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE UNITED STATES,
PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE FEDERAL LAW.

(D) ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO SHALL SUSTAIN ANY INJURY WHILE
ENGAGED IN AND ARISING OUT OF ANY ACTIVITY HEREUNDER SHALL

BE ENTITLED TO ANY OR ALL BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO HIM UNDER

THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND, WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION, AS
THE PRIMARY REMEDY TO REIMBURSE HIM FOR EXPENSES FOR MEDICAL
BILLS, LOSS OR EARNINGS AND DISABILITY ARISING HEREUNDER OF
AS A RESULT HEREOF.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Statute of Limitations — Prosecution for Certain
Misdemeanors

FOR the purpose of requiring that the prosecution of   certain

misdemeanor offenses be instituted within a   certain

time after the offense was committed; repealing   certain

inconsistencies; and giving this Act a certain
prospective effect.
