Unclaimed prizes for a winning ticket or share shall be
retained by the director for the person entitled thereto for
[one year] 90 DAYS after the drawing in which the prize was
won. If no claim is made for the prize within the [year] 90
DAYS, the prize shall remain in the State Lottery Fund for
further use as prizes. Nothing in this section shall be
construed to prohibit the holding of bonus games or drawings
with a preannounced period for the claiming of prizes of
other than [one year] 90 DAYS. A bonus game or drawing
shall be any game, so designated by the State Lottery
Agency, other than regular weekly or daily lottery drawings.
This section shall apply to all prizes won on or after May
24, 1973, except as may be modified by this article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect October 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Charles County — Orphans' Court Judges

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the judges of the
Orphans' Court of Charles County; and specifying that
the salary alteration shall not affect the incumbents.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article — Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(j) Each of the judges of the court for Charles
County shall receive as annual compensation [$900] $1,100.
Each judge shall also be allowed $400 annually for traveling
expenses, payable quarterly.
