SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

158.

(f) (1) The board of license commissioners for

Baltimore County are authorized to appoint a chief license
inspector and such other license inspectors as [said] THE
board from time to time deems necessary. The salary of the
chief license inspector [shall] MAY NOT be [no] less than
[thirty-four hundred dollars ($3,400.00)] $4,400 per annum
and the salary of each of the remaining license inspectors
[shall] MAY NOT be [no] less than [three thousand dollars
($3,000.00)] $4,000 per annum.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
