Ch. 216

Commissioner [shall find] FINDS that any of the persons
named as applicants in the application or the general
manager of the office are not of good moral character,
business integrity or financial responsibility and if there
is good sufficient reason within the meaning and purpose of
this subtitle for rejecting [such] THE application. All
moneys realized from the licensing of employment agencies
shall be deposited in the general fund of the State
treasury.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

CHAPTER 217

(Senate Bill 259)

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore-Washington Parkway —
Truck Traffic Prohibition

FOR the purpose of prohibiting truck traffic on the
Baltimore—Washington Parkway.

Preamble

It is the intent of this legislation to continue to
prohibit truck traffic on the Baltimore—Washington Parkway
south of Maryland Route 175, after the Federal Government
transfers that portion of the highway to the State; now,
therefore,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Baltimore—Washington Parkway shall be
closed to truck traffic south of Maryland Route 175.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this

provision shall be effective when the State    of Maryland

takes and assumes full responsibility for the
Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
