Ch. 140

SYSTEM, or law enforcement agency who has completed an
American Red Cross course in advanced first aid or its
equivalent and possesses a current card indicating that
status as determined by the Secretary of Health and Mental
Hygiene, or is certified by the State of Maryland as an
emergency medical technician or cardiac rescue technician
has the same immunity provided in subsection (a).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

shall take effect July 1, 1978 is declared to be an

emergency measure and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and having been
passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three—fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly, it shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Board of Electrical Examiners

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Queen Anne's County
Commissioners to determine compensation for members of
the Board of Electrical Examiners for attendance at
Board meetings, rather than having the Board make that
determination; generally relating to the Queen Anne's
County Board of Electrical Examiners; and clarifying
language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County
Section 10—3

Article 18 — Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1974 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE II ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 18 — Queen Anne's County

10-3.

Each member of the Board shall receive a compensation
for actual service in attending the meetings of the Board,
