phrase "if the license is issued for a 4—year
term" is new language derived without
substantive change from Art. 66 1/2,
§6-115(b)(4). See §16-115 of this subtitle,
In subsection (d)(1) of this section, the term
"usual signature"—which appears in the
Uniform Vehicle Code counterpart to this
section-—is substituted for the somewhat less
clear "proper handwriting".
Subsection (d)(2) of this section is new
language added for clarity. As to restricted
licenses, see §16-113 of this subtitle.
The second clause of present §6—111(b), which
relates to records of applications to be kept,
is deleted as unnecessary in light of §16—117
of this subtitle. As to public inspection of
records, see §12—111 of this article.
The only other changes are in style.
