15-514. REFUSAL, SUSPENSION, OR REVOCATION OF LICENSE.
IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER GROUNDS SPECIFIED IN
§15-109 SUBTITLE 1 OF THIS TITLE FOR REFUSAL, SUSPENSION,
OR REVOCATION OF A LICENSE, THE ADMINISTRATION MAY REFUSE
TO GRANT A LICENSE UNDER THIS SUBTITLE TO ANY PERSON AND
MAY SUSPEND, REVOKE, OR REFUSE TO RENEW THE LICENSE OF
ANY PERSON IF IT FINDS THAT THE PERSON HAS VIOLATED ANY
APPLICABLE RULE OR REGULATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 66 1/2,
§5-601.
The other grounds presently specified in
§5—601 for refusal, suspension, or revocation
are deleted as already covered by the standard
provisions of §15—109 of this title.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:
In revising this subtitle, the Commission to Revise
the Annotated Code deleted as redundant present Art. 66
1/2, §5-204, which governs the forwarding of title to the
Administration by a scrap processor. The provisions of
that section are covered adequately fay §§ 15-510(b) and
15—512 of this subtitle.
Present Art. 66 1/2, §5—207, which provides for the
authority of the Administration to adopt rules and
regulations and prescribe forms for this subtitle, is
deleted as unnecessary in light of §§ 12—104 and 12—105
of this article to the same effect.
Present Art. 66 1/2, §5-209, which provides that
this subtitle supercedes any inconsistent local laws, is
deleted as unnecessary in light of §25—101.1 of this
article to the same effect.
Present Art. 66 1/2, §§ 5-210 and 5-608, which
provide that a violation of this subtitle is a
misdemeanor, are deleted as unnecessary in light of
§27-101 of this article to the same effect.
