STOLEN, OR DAMAGED REGISTRATION CARD, THE FEE IS $1.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §3-834 (a)2 and the first sentence
of §3-834 (b).
In subsection (b) of this section, the terms
"stolen" and "damaged" are added to reflect
the language of §13-415(a) of this title:
"lost, stolen, mutilated, destroyed, or ...
illegible".
The only other changes are in style.
13-951. REPLACEMENT OF UNAFFIXED VALIDATION TABS.
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF REPLACEMENT VALIDATION TABS,
ISSUED UNDER §13-415(A) OF THIS TITLE TO REPLACE LOST,
STOLEN, OR DAMAGED VALIDATION TABS THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN
AFFIXED TO REGISTRATION PLATES, THE FEE IS $1.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §3-834(a)4.
The terms "stolen" and "damaged" are added to
reflect the language of §13—415(a) of this
title: "lost, stolen, mutilated, destroyed, or
... illegible".
The only other changes are in style.

VALIDATION TABS.
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF REPLACEMENT REGISTRATION PLATES,
A REPLACEMENT REGISTRATION CARD, AND REPLACEMENT
VALIDATION TABS, ISSUED UNDER §13-415(B) OF THIS TITLE TO
REPLACE A LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED REGISTRATION PLATE OR
AN AFFIXED VALIDATION TAB, THE FEE IS $2.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §3-834(a)3.
The present statement requiring the return of
all registration plates even if only one was
lost, stolen, or damaged, is transferred to
§13-415(b)(2) of this title.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:
In revising this title, the Commission to Revise the
Annotated Code reorganized its provisions to clarify the
distinction between classified vehicles and
interchangeable registrations. This conforms to the same
reorganization made in Subtitle 6 of this title.
