§13-602(B)(2) OF THIS SUBTITLE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first two
sentences of Art. 66 1/2, §3-602(d). 13-604. INFORMATION TO BE INSERTED ON PLATES; DISPLAY OF PLATES. (A)       REQUIRED INFORMATION. EACH DEALER WHO ISSUES A TEMPORARY REGISTRATION
PLATE SHALL INSERT CLEARLY AND INDELIBLY ON THE FACE OF
THE PLATE: (1) THE DATES OF ITS ISSUANCE AND
EXPIRATION; AND (2)    THE MAKE AND VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION
NUMBER OF THE VEHICLE FOR WHICH THE PLATE IS ISSUED. (B)   DISPLAY OF PLATES. A TEMPORARY REGISTRATION PLATE SHALL BE ATTACHED,
IN THE MANNER PROVIDED IN §13-411 OF THIS TITLE, TO THE
REAR OF THE VEHICLE FOR WHICH IT IS ISSUED. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §3-602(e). In subsection (a) of this section, the more
correct term "vehicle identification number",
which is defined in §11-177 of this article,
is substituted for "serial number". In subsection (b) of this section, an express
reference to §13-411 of this title is added
for clarity. The only other changes are in style. 13-605. EXPIRATION OF TEMPORARY REGISTRATION. (A) WHEN REGISTRATION EXPIRES. THE TEMPORARY REGISTRATION OF A VEHICLE UNDER THIS
PART EXPIRES ON THE FIRST TO OCCUR OF: (1)    RECEIPT OF ANNUAL REGISTRATION PLATES
FOR THE VEHICLE; (2)   RESCISSION OF THE CONTRACT TO BUY THE VEHICLE; OR (3)         EXPIRATION OF 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE THE
TEMPORARY PLATE WAS ISSUED.
(B) DESTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY PLATES.
