In this section, the word "transferred" is
substituted for "sold" to conform to the usage
appearing in §13—501 and elsewhere in this
subtitle.
In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the
present words "firm or corporation" are
deleted as unnecessary in light of the
definition of "person" in §1-101 of this
article.
In subsection (b) of this section, the present
words "or, in Baltimore City, the city police"
are deleted as unnecessary in light of the
definition of "county" in §1-101 of this
article.
The only other changes are in style.

PART I. TEMPORARY REGISTRATION PLATES FOR BUYERS OF
VEHICLES.
13-601. APPLICATION BY DEALER; FEE.
THE ADMINISTRATION MAY DESIGN TEMPORARY
REGISTRATION PLATES AND FURNISH THEM TO ANY LICENSED
DEALER WHO:
(1) ON THE FORM THAT THE ADMINISTRATION
REQUIRES, APPLIES FOR AT LEAST FIVE OF THESE PLATES; AND
(2) WITH THE APPLICATION, SUBMITS A FEE OF 50
CENTS FOR EACH PLATE.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
the first sentence of Art. 66 1/2, §3-602(a).
In this section and throughout this Part, the
term "licensed dealer" is substituted for
"registered dealer"; see §11—129 of this
article. Also, present references to
"markers" are deleted as redundant in light of
the general reference in this section to
plates the Administration "design{s}".
The only other changes are in style.
The second sentence of present §3-602(a),
which relates to the form for application, is
deleted as unnecessary in light of §12-105 of
this article.
