Also deleted is present Art. 66 1/2, §3-208, which
requires the Administration to "prescribe" and provide
all forms necessary for this subtitle and authorizes the
Administration to undertake investigations. That section
is unnecessary in light of §§ 12—105 and 12-107 of this
article to the same effect. SUBTITLE 3. RESERVED. SUBTITLE 4. REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES. PART I. IN GENERAL. 13-401. DRIVING UNREGISTERED VEHICLE. (A)      WHEN DRIVING PROHIBITED. AS TO ANY VEHICLE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED UNDER
THIS TITLE, A PERSON MAY NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE ON ANY
HIGHWAY IN THIS STATE AND THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE MAY
NOT KNOWINGLY PERMIT IT TO BE DRIVEN ON ANY HIGHWAY IN
THIS STATE, IF: (1)   THE VEHICLE IS NOT REGISTERED OR THE
REQUIRED REGISTRATION FEE HAS NOT BEEN PAID; OR (2)    THE REGISTRATION OF THE VEHICLE IS
CANCELLED CANCELED, SUSPENDED, OR REVOKED. (B)   DRIVING PENDING COMPLETE REGISTRATION. IF AN APPLICATION ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUIRED FEE
HAS BEEN MADE FOR REGISTRATION OF A VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE
MAY BE DRIVEN TEMPORARILY PENDING COMPLETE REGISTRATION: (1)      ON DISPLAYING AN AUTHENTICATED
REGISTRATION CARD; OR (2)   OTHERWISE UNDER RULES AND REGULATIONS
ADOPTED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §3-401. The present references to a violation of this
section as being a "misdemeanor" are deleted
as unnecessary in light of §27—101 of this
article. In the introductory language of subsection (a)
of this section, the present references to the
"move{ment}" of vehicles are deleted as
unnecessary in light of the definition of
"drive" in §11-114 of this article.
