AFFIDAVIT, OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR FORM, THE ADMINISTRATION
MAY REQUIRE INSTEAD THAT THE PERSON SIGN A CERTIFICATION
UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY. (2) A CERTIFICATION REQUIRED UNDER THIS
SECTION SHALL BE SUBSTANTIALLY IN THE FOLLOWING FORM: "I
CERTIFY, UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY, THAT THE STATEMENTS
MADE HEREIN ARE TRUE AND CORRECT, TO THE BEST OF MY
KNOWLEDGE, INFORMATION, AND BELIEF." REVISOR'S NOTE; This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §2-311. In subsection (b) of this section, the term
"penalty of perjury" is substituted for the
less clear "penalty of law." The only other changes are in style. As to oaths generally, see, also, Art. 1, §9
of the Code. 12-110. REPOSSESSION OF DOCUMENTS AND PLATES. THE ADMINISTRATION MAY TAKE POSSESSION OF ANY
CERTIFICATE OF TITLE, REGISTRATION CARD, PERMIT, LICENSE,
OR REGISTRATION PLATE: (1)   THAT IS FICTITIOUS; OR (2)   THAT IS ISSUED BY IT AND THAT: (I)   HAS EXPIRED; (II)   HAS BEEN CANCELLED CANCELED, SUSPENDED,
OR REVOKED; OR (III)   WAS ISSUED UNLAWFULLY OR ERRONEOUSLY. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §2-314. The only changes are in style. 12-111. RECORDS OF ADMINISTRATION - IN GENERAL. (A)   RECORDS REQUIRED TO BE KEPT. THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL KEEP A RECORD OF EACH
APPLICATION OF OTHER DOCUMENT FILED WITH IT AND EACH
CERTIFICATE OR OTHER OFFICIAL DOCUMENT THAT IT ISSUES. (B)   RECORDS ARE PUBLIC INFORMATION. (1) EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, ALL
RECORDS OF THE ADMINISTRATION ARE PUBLIC RECORDS AND OPEN
TO PUBLIC INSPECTION DURING OFFICE HOURS.
