46 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 13
TERM.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 41, §208D (a) and (b) - except for the
sixth and eighth sentences of present
§208D(a), which now appear in §2-204 of this
subtitle,
In subsection (b) of this section, the present
checklist of areas of particular interest and
experience is deleted as unnecessary in light
of the broad reference to "fields under the
jurisdiction of the Department". This
language is patterned after that appearing in
§2-503(b) of this title as to members of the
Board Review of the Department.
In subsection (c)(1) of this section, new
language is added to indicate that a member
serves until his successor takes office. This
conforms to similar provisions appearing
elsewhere in the Code.
The only other changes are in style.
As to the appointment of members of the State
Roads Commission, see Title 8, Subtitle 2 of
this article.
