A BILL ENTITLED
AN ACT to add a new Section 75—15 to sub-title 75, title
"Taxes", of the Prince George's County Code of
Public Local Laws, 1963 Edition, as amended, to
provide that for purposes of taxation in Prince
George's County, stock in manufacturing and
commercial businesses in the nature of supplies
shall be classified as inventory and therefore be
exempted from taxation.

AN EMERGENCY BILL ENTITLED
AN ACT to amend Section 20-22 of Subtitle 20 "County
Treasurer" of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland) 1963 Edition,
entitled "Certified Statement of taxes" for the
purpose of amending the amount of fee applicable on
a request to the Treasurer for a certified statement
of all taxes assessed on any piece of real property
lying and being in Prince George's County, and to
amend the number of consecutive years from seven to
four years preceding the date of the application for
a certified statement, which years may be due and
unpaid, and to limit the liability of the Treasurer
and any treasury division official authorized by him
to make such a certificate to willful and fraudulent
error in said certificate, and further providing
that said bill is necessary to meet a public
emergency affecting the public health, safety, and
welfare of Prince George's County, and describing
the claimed emergency in clear and specific terms.
